What to pack for five days in Santiago, Chile
We arrived in Santiago at the start of March, which is basically the end of summer but it felt like the middle! In the day, the temperature tended to be around 30°c without much breeze and no rain. I think the lowest daytime temperature was 26°c… but after sunset it does get cooler and it was around 15°c in the mornings when we went out to run.
I also tended to wear a combination of my daytime outfits out in the evening – we didn’t go anywhere that called for anything more than casual clothing and the locals all dress very casually. But you could pack a summer dress or similar for the evenings if you like to dress up a little.
Obviously, you should check the forecast for the time of your visit to Santiago. But for five days in March, this is what I packed.
